CHAMAN: Security forces arrested a terrorist and his facilitator during an intelligence-based operations in Balochistan’s city of Chaman and Karachi.
Sources said that the arrested terrorist admitted his involvement in placing an IED device in Roghani Sector.
Sources further revealed that the security forces arrested the terrorist’s facilitator from Karachi after obtaining information from him.
Security forces continued anti-terrorism operations across the province without any delay.
On Friday, commander of a banned terrorist organization was killed in a joint operation of police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in KP city of Karak.
According to police, the terrorist was killed after an hours-long firefight in Emberi Kala area of Karak.
However, three police personnel were injured in the encounter, who were shifted to the hospital.
According to the police, the killed commander was involved in terrorism including suicide bombings and target killings.
IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed paid tribute to the bravery of the police personnel.
