Pakistani students can now view their Cambridge answer sheets

In a significant move towards transparency, the Cambridge Examination Board has started allowing Pakistani students to view their answer scripts online for the first time. The initiative enables O and A Level students to review their answer scripts free of charge before deciding whether to apply for scrutiny.

Uzma Yousuf, Country Manager for Cambridge in Pakistan, shared the news during a media interaction in Karachi on Friday. She explained that all Cambridge-affiliated schools across Pakistan now have access to the exam copies of their students. Students wishing to view their answer scripts can do so by visiting their respective schools, with no fees charged for this service.

Unlike Pakistan’s provincial education boards, which do not permit students to view their matriculation or intermediate answer sheets, this new practice by Cambridge aims to offer greater transparency. Yousuf further highlighted that Pakistan has the highest number of Cambridge O and A Level students globally, with approximately 130,000 enrolled, followed by the United States, China, India, and Dubai. Currently, around 800 schools in Pakistan are affiliated with Cambridge.
