Hailey Bieber subtly shaded her husband, Justin Bieber, on his first Father’s Day in a comment that called back to his controversial Mother’s Day post. While many would expect a heartfelt tribute, Hailey, 28, chose not to share a social media post for Justin. Instead, she reacted to a black-and-white photo Justin, 31, posted, in which he referred to himself as “a dad that’s not to be f–ked with.”
In the comment section, Hailey left a blunt message: “Father’s Day sucks ass,” mirroring Justin’s tone a month earlier when he posted about Mother’s Day, joking, “Good luck today for anyone navigating Mother’s Day.”
The couple, who became parents to their now-9-month-old son, Jack Blues, in August 2024, has often shared glimpses of their lives on social media. Justin, however, made waves with a post in late May, where he attempted to celebrate Hailey’s first Vogue cover but also admitted to once telling her she would never make the cover of the iconic magazine. He later called out his past remark, saying, “Yikes I know so mean,” and added an apology in the form of an emoji-filled update.

Despite this, Hailey, who recently discussed the state of their marriage in a Vogue interview, insisted that they are doing well. “You would think after having a child, people would maybe move on, chill out a little bit, but no,” she said, reflecting on public speculation about their relationship.
The couple, who wed in 2018 and renewed their vows last year in Hawaii, has faced ongoing scrutiny, especially with Justin’s struggles, which include concerns about his health and financial issues. He acknowledged in a recent Instagram story that he was “broken” and dealing with “anger issues.”
The singer also posted a rant where he slammed a friend for checking in on his well-being, writing, “Your concern doesn’t come off as care. It’s just oppressive.” This followed a heated confrontation with a paparazzo, during which Justin demanded the photographer “get out of [his] f–king face.”
