ISLAMABAD: PML-N Senator Irfan Siddiqui sharply criticized Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent speech, calling it a clear admission of defeat. Siddiqui suggested that Modi’s agitated tone was indicative of a leader grappling with the consequences of failure.
In a post on X, Siddiqui claimed that every statement in Modi’s speech echoed his own defeat, describing it as the desperate outburst of a cornered individual. He further stated that Operation Sindhoor had left “Bharat Mata” with nothing but ashes, rather than showcasing the supposed superiority of India’s Rafale jets and other military assets.
Following the military setback at the hands of Pakistan’s armed forces and the international humiliation that ensued, Siddiqui argued that Modi’s silence would have been more honorable than his frantic comments. He concluded that such disgrace could not be washed away by empty words.
