KARACHI: Karachi experienced hot and humid weather on Tuesday, with dry winds from Tharparkar and the suspension of the sea breeze intensifying the heat. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast similar conditions for Wednesday and Thursday, although the sea breeze is expected to return.
Meanwhile, light rain with thunder and lightning was reported in Makli and Thatta, and rural Sindh experienced higher temperatures, with Jacobabad reaching 41°C. The forecast predicts temperatures between 36°C and 38°C on Wednesday, with high humidity levels throughout the day.
