Pakistan sends 35 tonnes of relief goods to earthquake-hit Myanmar

ISLAMABAD: A humanitarian assistance consignment carrying thirty-five tonnes of supplies was sent to Myanmar on Tuesday following the directions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry oversaw the departure of the cargo flight at Islamabad International Airport.
The aid package, which includes tents, blankets, tarpaulins, water modules, ready-made food, and medicines, will be delivered to Myanmar authorities at Yangon airport.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed condolences to Myanmar’s leadership and people over the earthquake, which resulted in casualties and damage.
