Goldsmith rushed to hospital after fall on Cape Town mountain

CAPE TOWN: Jemima Goldsmith, the former wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, sustained injuries after falling while hiking in South Africa on Tuesday.

Reports indicate that Jemima was trekking when the accident occurred.

She was immediately rushed to a hospital in Cape Town, where her condition is said to be stable. Following the incident, Jemima was seen in a wheelchair and later using crutches.

A London resident, Jemima lives with her two sons, Sulaiman and Qasim. However, media reports confirm she was in South Africa to celebrate the New Year.

The 50-year-old film producer had been hiking to the summit of Lion’s Head, a peak in Cape Town that stands 2,194 feet above sea level, before tumbling on her descent.

In photos taken after the incident, Jemima was seen in a wheelchair and later wheeled through the hospital in a bed by a porter.
