Police team arrives at Adiala Jail for investigations

RAWALPINDI: A 12-member investigation team from Lahore Police arrived at Adiala Jail today to probe the 12 cases filed against PTI founder
Imran Khan from May 9.

The team, led by DSP Javed Asif, faced resistance as Imran Khan refused to cooperate, demanding that the investigation be conducted in the presence of his
lawyers.

Despite the standoff, the Lahore Police are set to perform three critical tests on Khan today, including a polygraph test, voice matching, and photographic
analysis.

The team’s visit comes after the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore extended Imran Khan’s physical remand until July 25, allowing for further investigation into the cases.
