Lahore police decide to arrest Imran Khan in seven more May 9 cases

LAHORE: The Lahore police have decided to arrest PTI founder chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan in another seven cases relating to May 9 vandalism.

Joint Investigation Team (JIT) will move anti-terrorism court for the arrest of Imran Khan. After arresting PTI leader, the JIT will seek his remand in Adiala Jail where the former prime minister is already undergoing his prison terms awarded in cypher, Toshakhana and illegal marriage cases. The police in Lahore had registered 14 cases in connection with May 9 violence and had already found Imran Khan guilty in seven other cases.
