Ch Ashiq elected as chairman of APNSF

ISLAMABAD: All-Pakistan Newspaper Sellers Federation (APNSF) on Saturday elected Chaudhry Ashiq Ali as the Chairman of the federation with unanimous opinion of all the members.

In this regard, a meeting of the All-Pakistan Newspaper Sellers Federation was held at Akhbar Market Islamabad under the chairmanship of life-Secretary-General Tikka Khan Abbasi.

In the meeting, Secretary-General Tikka Khan Abbasi proposed the name of Chaudhry Ashiq Ali for the new chairman of the federation and subsequently, he was elected as chairman with the unanimous opinion of all the members.

On this occasion, Tikka Khan Abbasi lauded the way Chaudhry Ashiq Ali had worked for the welfare of newspaper vendors in the past, saying the new chairman will protect the rights of newspaper vendors while respecting the constitution. “Ch Ashiq will protect the rights of the federation’s members and actively participate in the activities of the All Pakistan Newspaper Sellers Federation,” he added.

Ch Ashiq Ali said in his address that he was grateful to Tikka Khan Abbasi and all the members for the trust they had reposed in him. “Insha Allah, I will spare no effort to protect the rights of newspaper vendors and continue the struggle for the welfare of the newspaper vendors across the country along with the federation”, he pledged.
