Rana Sanaullah declines Shehbaz’s offer to join government: sources

ISLAMABAD: According to sources, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar extended an invitation to PML-N stalwarts Rana Sanaullah and Khawaja Saad Rafique to join the government.

According to sources Rana Sanaullah expressed his preference to remain outside the government fold in order to shape a distinct political narrative.

PM Shehbaz reportedly advised them to craft their political narrative while being part of the government setup.

Similar sentiments were echoed by Khawaja Saad Rafique, indicating a shared perspective with Rana Sanaullah on the matter.

Both emphasized the importance of shaping a narrative that resonates with the masses, focusing on future prospects.

PM Shehbaz reportedly deferred the final decision on this matter to Nawaz Sharif, indicating that the party leadership would have the ultimate say.

As per sources, Rana Sanaullah expressed readiness to join the government if so directed by Nawaz Sharif.

Sources revealed that Nawaz Sharif will make a decision on the matter upon his return from his ongoing visit to China.
