Imtiaz conveyed to Diljit, “You have achieved remarkable success already, but I assure you, this is just the beginning. Wherever you go, we will stand by you. I am delighted that this project brought a sense of freshness into my life. I am grateful to Netflix for embracing it with such enthusiasm.”

In an earlier interview, Imtiaz emphasized the necessity of casting actors who could sing for the film. He explained, “It was crucial for me to cast actors who possess singing abilities and can perform live.

Trailer for the upcoming film:

Diljit, despite extensive training like Parineeti, is accustomed to live singing. Both actors recorded the songs after performing them live. This approach allowed flexibility, ensuring we had live singing during scenes, a departure from the norm of using playback recordings.”

‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on April 12th.
