Islamabad: The Prime Minister has approved the appointment of a close aide of Finance minister Ishaq Dar’ Tariq Pasha as special assistant to the PM on Revenue.
According to notification, the Prime Minister, in terms of rule 4(6) of rules of business 1973, has been pleased to appoint Tariq Mehmood Pasha as special assistant to the PM on Revenue with the status of minister of state, with immediate effect.
According to details, Tariq Pasha would be seventy six cabinet members of Shahbaz Sharif led cabinet.
Finance minister Ishaq Dar is gradually consolidating its powers with the appointment of close aides on important positions and he is chairing important meetings in the Prime Minister secretariat also.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ishaq Dar has already appointed Tariq Bajwa as SAPM on Finance.
