PM Imran’s assets valued at Rs80.6mn: ECP

A detailed report released by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) revealed the asset details of Prime Minister Imran Khan, which were valued at Rs80.6 million.

The premier owns 10 properties in the country, and inherited a seven-Kanal house in Zaman Park, Lahore, which is valued at Rs40.5 million.

Furthermore, PM Imran received one property as a gift – a 300 Kanal house in Bani Gala, which later incurred additional construction costs of Rs10 million. The report also provided details about his other properties, such as a six-Kanal plot in Mohra Noori worth Rs0.5 million, and five inherited plots in Mianwali, Bhakkar, Sheikhupura, and Khanewal.

Furthermore, the premier has two apartments in Shahra-e-Dastoor in Islamabad, for which he paid Rs10.2 million. His other assets include four goats worth Rs200,000, Rs50.6 million in a local bank account, and a further Rs10.9 million in cash.

Meanwhile, the premier’s wife, Bushra Bibi, owns four properties in the country, including Pakpattan, Okara and Bani Gala. One of her properties from Sheikhupura has already been sold for Rs70 million.

According to the report, while he does not have any offshore businesses, he does have four foreign-currency bank accounts, which have £518, $328,760, $1,470 and £0 respectively.
