It’s not the first time in Pakistan that powerful people escape in their cases from courts very easily. Few days ago National Accountability Bureau teams raided the residence of Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore but could not find him nor arrested him. It’s a revealed truth to every Pakistani that he is not merely accused of a few thousands or lacs of corruption. He remained involved in mega corruption and money laundering cases of million dollars. Just imagine if any poor person or a person from a weak background commits any crime like stealing , is it possible for him to get bail from court so easily? Absolutely the answer is no.Then why these people having corruption history of many years are getting bail before arrest ? It’s a very important time for accountability departments and the government to arrest such corrupt people and punish them strictly so that it becomes example for defaulters in the coming era. Only through taking such kind of necessary steps Pakistani nation can trust on accountability departments that here is a practical implementation of Equal Justice for All.
