KARACHI: An under treatment coronavirus patient committed suicide at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) here on Monday.
Sources at JPMC told PPI that a 31-year-old coronavirus suspected patient, a resident of Landhi Town, was admitted to the Isolation Ward on the second floor of the hospital since a couple of days.
He jumped from the third floor of the building early Monday morning. As a result, he was seriously injured and was rushed to the emergency department where he died. The patient was stated to be mentally upset due to the viral infection and committed suicide.
