KARACHI: Two policemen sustained bullet injuries in an alleged exchange of fire after the cops tried to intercept suspects in Karachi on Thursday night.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) East Tanveer Alam said that the incident occurred in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area, within the remits of Aziz Bhatti police station.
The policemen who were on a motorcycle tried to intercept a vehicle after which the suspects opened fire on them, injuring one cop, he said.
