LONDON: Prime Minister’s Spokesperson on Trade and Investment in UK and Europe Sahibzada Jahangir on Wednesday said that Pakistan’s economy is improving and the country is on the road to prosperity.
The PM’s spokesperson hosted a dinner at his home in London for Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar, where both leaders highlighted the government’s economic achievements before a selective gathering of business leaders in the UK.
Sahibzada said that the economic indicators of World Bank (WB), International Monetary Fund (IMF) and all major financial institutions show complete satisfactions with the economic progress of the country in various departments.
He said that the stock exchange is booming and foreign exchange remittances are on the rise. “Investors are coming to Pakistan and the country’s exports are increasing,” he said.
Sahibzada said that under the honest, dedicated and committed leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Pakistan is now open to world as a safe and profitable destination for foreign investment.
