Pakistan made Kartarpur Corridor to eradicate hatred: Qureshi

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the purpose of making  Kartarpur Corridor is to eradicate hatred and present Pakistan in the region as a peaceful country. We hope this gesture will move India to change its policy over Kashmir.

The foreign minister while speaking to BBC further said that Kartarpur Corridor is spreading love and is a goodwill message by Islamabad. India never responded to Pakistan’s various attempts of restoring peace, he added.

Qureshi said Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced immediately after assuming charge that Pakistan ill move two steps forward if India takes one for establishing peace, but India responded with criticism, border violations and confrontation.

People of occupied Kashmir, as well as Pakistan, have discarded India’s unconstitutional and illegal move of abolishing IoK’s status, he stressed.
