PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government on Sunday issued funds for those districts which fall under the FATA Merger, aiming to restore the areas to open new chapters of development.
According to sources within the finance department, Rs1 billion has been issued for Southern Waziristan and Rs1.059 billion for Northern Waziristan.
Rs1.04 billion for Orakzai district, Rs1.10 billion for Kurram Agency, Rs 333 million for Bajaur, Rs 445 for Khyber and Rs 543 million for Mehmund district.
