KARACHI: One more girl lost her life following administration of the wrong injection by a fake doctor in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area on Sunday.
The sorrowful incident took place in the 13-D neighbourhood of the metropolis on Saturday night where a father took his minor daughter to a local clinic who was suffering from breathing issues.
The minor girl died just after the administration of the wrong injection by the fake doctor, identified as Dr Adnan, who fled from his clinic but captured during late night raids, police said.
Police told newsmen that the father of the deceased girl is a rickshaw driver who later took her daughter’s dead body to Jinnah Hospital.
Miseries of the bereaved father were no ended at the hospital where the staff refused to carry on a post-mortem of the unlucky girl.
An on-duty Medico-Legal Officer (MLO) Dr Zakia showed inhumane behaviour by rejecting to conduct a post-mortem of the deceased girl, saying she could not come to the hospital following her leave.
