LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday summoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo on April 23.
Wattoo is accused of making 400 illegal appointments during his tenure as Punjab chief minister.
He served as both the speaker of the provincial assembly and chief minister. He left Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) in 2008 to join Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and remained the minister of states and frontier regions.
He joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in 2018.
