LAHORE – Up and coming heartthrob, believed by almost everyone in his family to be the future of Lollywood, Humayun Saeed, has graciously accepted not being nominated in the upcoming Lux Style Awards.
While the lack of nomination in the acting categories did surprise many, the young Punjab Nahin Jaungi star didn’t let this get to him. He took to Twitter to graciously address the situation.
“Congratulations motoo mamoon (fatty uncle)!” he began, directing the comment at Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 costar Ahmad Ali Butt who had been nominated in the Best Actor category.
He continued, “Some people are questioning why I wasn’t nominated but I don’t find anything wrong with the LSA nominations. As far as JPNA2 is concerned, no one else deserved the Best Actor nomination other than Ahmad Uncle.”
Later in an exclusive interview with The Dependent, Humayun Saeed confessed that he is happy to wait for his opportunities.
“The seniors have been in this business for a long time, while I’ve only just joined. They deserve to compete for these awards, while youngsters like me should look up to them and learn from them,” he said.
