LAHORE: The Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PCTB) on Thursday increased textbooks prices by 12 percent.
The surge in prices has increased the difficulties for students as well as their parents. Some textbooks are not even available in the market.
It has been reported that the PCTB delayed to tender out the printing of the textbooks which resulted in the unavailability of the stock.
On the other hand, the purchasers have demanded the authorities to reduce the prices and meet the demand.
