ISLAMABAD: Austrian Ambassador Nicolaus Keller on Wednesday assured Federal Minister for Water and Resources Faisal Vawda his government’s all-out cooperation to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) administration.
During a meeting with the federal minister, Keller said that achieving sustainable development would only be possible by building effective cooperation through mutual trust and the involvement of all stakeholders.
Vawda, on the occasion, emphasised enhancing cooperation in political, economic and commercial sectors with a view to promoting trade and investment, tourism and people-to-people exchanges.
He said that water was a key element not only for social development but also for ensuring peace, stability and development.
“The best way is to raise awareness and find means to conserve water as soon as possible. All of us should make every possible effort to mitigate the impact of water scarcity,” the minister added.
