SWABI: Two unidentified armed motorcyclists shot at and injured two policemen here on Sunday before speeding away from the scene.
Police said that unknown miscreants riding a bike opened indiscriminate fire at two policemen in Kalu Khan area of Swabi. Both cops were seriously injured in the attack and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The police cordoned off the area of the attack and launched a search operation for the assailants, however, they managed to escape.
Meanwhile, an investigation was started after registering a case against the criminals.
