ISLAMABAD: The construction of the 81km Swat Motorway is in full swing.
In an interview on Sunday, Swat Motorway Project Director (PD) Barkatullah said that the motorway will be completed at a cost of Rs41 billion by May next year.
He said that it will be linked with the Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway at Karnal Sher Khan Interchange near Swabi and that the project is being constructed under public-private partnership.
On completion, the motorway will boost tourism, trade and economic activities in Malakand division.
