SMIU likely to introduce courses of human rights

ISLAMABAD: Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) VVice-Chancellor Dr Muhammad Ali Shaikh called on Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen Mazari on Monday and discussed the possibility to introduce courses of human rights in the university.

Dr Mazari assured her full support in this regard and said that the education was a foundation of character building and the universities can undoubtedly play a pivotal role in the formation of character building of the students as well as in the development of the nation. Shireen Mazari said that all out efforts were being made to ensure the provision of the higher education facilities to the students on a priority basis.

She said that education was the key to success. On this occasion, Dr Ali Shaikh apprised the federal minister for working progresses and ongoing projects for the betterment of the students.
