Family robbed in Karachi as street crime spikes

KARACHI: A family of Dubai origin was deprived of cash and jewellery in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi on Tuesday.

The closed-circuit camera footage of a similar incident that took place two days back in Federal B Area has been obtained.

According to the video, two thieves looted a person on his motorbike within five minutes and fled the site.

Due to an increase in street crime, citizens and visitors are being robbed of their property in the city and government-owned vehicles are also not safe.
