Justice Tariq Iftikhar Ahmed had passed the orders on the petition in which Khujista had claimed that FIA was not complying with the legal clauses of cyber laws. She had further stated that the agency was not any taking action against the five accused namely Sania Zehra Malik, Rana Shafeeq, Abid Hussain, Imran Javaid and Imran Alam. The accused are also professors of the varsity.

FIA Director Dr Usman has rejected the allegations levelled on him by the PU teacher and said that an inquiry was carried out following the complaint.

“An FIR was lodged against the accused and a report was submitted accordingly to the court later. It is up to the court to now decide if the bail applications of the accused are to be accepted or if they are to be arrested. As far as the FIA is concerned, the agency has done its job and has no further involvement in the case.”

He also made it clear that he did not influence the case as the inquiry was conducted by the Islamabad director general office.
