KARACHI: A suspected robber was killed during an alleged police encounter in Korangi area of the metropolis on Friday.
According to police sources, police team signalled to stop the suspected robber in Korangi’s Zaman Town to which the robber opened fire on the police. In the exchange of fire, the suspect suffered bullet injuries and died instantly.
Police also claimed to have recovered weapons, motorbike and snatched valuables.
Police said that the accused was wanted to police in several robbery cases.
The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.
