Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari gave his maiden speech in the National Assembly (NA) on Friday after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan got elected as the 22nd prime minister of Pakistan.

In his speech, Bilawal talked about various issues concerning the country and the expectations of people from Imran. He reminded Imran of his promises in PTI’s manifesto and said that he was anticipating the implementation of Imran’s 100-day agenda. He also paid tribute to those who lost their lives during the course of electioneering before the July 25 polls.

Following his speech, Twitter became flooded with tweets hailing Bilawal’s speech as mature and historic.

Bilawal’s speech, however, could not escape criticism on Twitter.
