LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has finalised the name of Pakistan Muslin League-Quaid’s (PML-Q) President Pervaiz Elahi for the position of Punjab Assembly speaker.
According to the PMLQ’s source, after getting the green signal for the speakership from PTI, Pervaiz Elahi has geared up making contacts with newly elected independent and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Members Provincial Assembly (MPAs).
The purpose of these contacts by Pervaiz Elahi is to get maximum votes for the speakership of Punjab Assembly in the election.
