The standard operating process (SOP) for degree verification has been changed and simplified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the commission will not require previous educational details while attesting and scrutinising degrees.
An HEC notification read, “Applicants for attestations will no longer be required to submit information about previous subsequent academic qualifications.”
Degrees issued by HEC recognised universities in subjects that the universities were authorised to issue degrees will be verified and attested.
