BANNU: A suspected terrorist was killed while his accomplices managed to escape after an exchange of fire with the security forces here on Sunday.
The security forces were on routine patrol in Jani Khel area of Bannu when the militants started firing at them. In retaliation, security forces personnel also opened fire, killing one terrorist while his accomplices managed to escape.
Arms and a mobile phone were recovered from the possession of the killed terrorist suspect.
