FDE withdraws 150 officials due to perform duties on July 25

ISLAMABAD:  At least 150 officials were withdrawn from polling duty by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) from polling duty on election day prompting the district returning officer (DRO) to call upon reserved staff from other departments.

The FDE informed the DRO that the action was taken because a majority of the withdrawn staff had been allowed to perform Hajj while several of them had reached retired after reaching superannuation.

There are three constituencies in the capital; NA-52, NA-53 and NA-54.
