ISLAMABAD: Justice Yahya Afridi on Thursday took oath as a judge of the Supreme Court (SC).
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar administered the oath of office to Justice Afridi at a ceremony in Islamabad.
The number of judges in the apex court had been reduced to 16 after the retirement of Justice (R) Aijaz Afzal.
Justice Afridi was previously Peshawar High Court (PHC) chief justice.
