QUETTA: A case of poliovirus was detected in Daaki area of Balochistan on Wednesday.
Polio focal person said that poliovirus was confirmed in 18-month Muhammad Usman son of Abdul Baseer a resident of Kalli Babbiran, US Saddar, Daaki.
This was the third polio case reported in Pakistan this year. Two previous polio cases were also detected from Daaki in March and April.
