KARACHI: Police claimed that the apparent suicide of a young woman was actually murder.
On May 24, Nazia, the victim, had been found hanging from a ceiling fan in her house, according to police.
SHO [Station House Officer] Ilyas Shah said that a murder case had been registered and Nazia’s sister-in-law, husband and mother-in-law had been arrested.
The SHO added that the cause of death was confirmed to be death by strangulation.
