Govt critcised for ‘inaction’ over religious minorities rights: report

ISLAMABAD: The panelists at a national convention criticised the government and expressed dissatisfaction over ‘government’s failure’ to completely implement the Supreme Court’s judgment of June 14, 2014, for providing protection to religious minorities, reported a local English newspaper.

The two-day convention was organised by National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) in collaboration with the Community World Service Asia.

Human right activists, bureaucrats, parliamentarians, and former high court judge were among the participants of the convention who expressed discontent during the inaugural session of the event.
