FAISALABAD: At least four people lost their lives and some 11 others were injured in the early hours of Wednesday as a bus and a semi-trailer truck collided near the Sahianwala Interchange, according to reports.
According to details, the accident took place when a passenger bus travelling from Multan to Rawalpindi crashed into a semi-trailer, resulting in one part of the bus being completely destroyed.
Three out of the 11 injured were transported to the Allied Hospital in Faisalabad in critical condition.
One of the injured was taken to Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology whereas three others sustained minor injuries and were just administered first aid on the spot.
The bodies have been transferred to a morgue while an investigation is underway.
