Four killed, 11 injured in road accident

ISLAMABAD: At least four people were killed and 11 others injured after a passenger bus overturned in the wee hours of Wednesday in Punjab.

According to reports, the accident occurred near Juman Shah village in the outskirts of Layyah district, when the bus overturned while avoiding a collision with a rickshaw.

Rescue teams reached the site and shifted the victims to a nearby hospital.

The ill-fated bus was reportedly heading from Multan to Rawalpindi.
