ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif said on Thursday that the Pak-Afghan issues would eventually have to be resolved by the two neighbours themselves.
He was speaking to the media on a visit to the Afghan embassy.

He said that Pakistan would make all-out efforts to assist Afghanistan in the fight against terrorism.
He further said that the enemy is taking advantage of the differences between Pakistan and Afghanistan, adding that the two countries should work on resolving the issues that they have.

The FM said that the Afghan delegation, comprising the Afghan intelligence chief and interior minister, had a very promising meeting with the Prime Minister Shahid Khan Abbasi.
He condemned the recent attacks in Afghanistan saying that Pakistan is standing with Afghanistan in this hour.
Zakhilwal—addressing the media afterwards— thanked Pakistan for standing with Afghanistan. He reiterated that terrorism is a common enemy of the two countries.
The Foreign Office spokesperson stated today that a Pakistani delegation would visit Afghanistan on February 3 to take the bilateral engagement further between the two countries.
