SARGODHA: Adding to the recent series of child sexual abuse cases that have shaken the country, the latest incident has been reported in the Shahpur tehsil of Sargodha where two men have allegedly assaulted a teenage boy.
The 13-year-old was sexually assaulted after intoxication while he was on his way back home from a madrassa.
The two suspects who reportedly belong to an influential family took the teenager to a poultry shed and persuaded the boy to consume alcohol on the pretext of offering him some other drink. The drunken men then sexually assaulted the teenager and escaped the scene while leaving the teenage victim in the shed.
The boy was taken to a nearby hospital by the police after a local discovered him after hearing his cries.
While the medical examination report of the victim is yet due, the police have registered the case and are conducting raids to arrest the accused.
