The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested two terrorists with a bomb and explosives in Peshawar on Thursday.
The CTD acted on an intelligence tip-off and arrested the two terrorists while they were riding motorcycles on Hariana Road, Peshawar.
The terrorists were identified as Ameen Jan and Muhammad Imran.
Explosive material and a locally manufactured bomb weighing 5kg were recovered from them which were later diffused by a bomb disposal squad.
According to CTD sources, the terrorists were allegedly shifting the bomb from Mohmand Agency to Peshawar.
The CTD confiscated the recovered explosives and shifted the terrorists to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
