ISLAMABAD: Dr Raja Amjad Mahmood, Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Joint Executive Director has been appointed as the new administrator and director of the hospital.
According to a notification issued by the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) acting vice-chancellor, Dr Amjad Mahmood will take charge on the retirement of the present PIMS Administrator Dr Altaf Hussain on January 20, 2018.
Dr Amjad Mahmood will be the overall administrative incharge of all the hospitals of PIMS and SZAMBU.
All the directors of the various hospitals will report to him.
