PPP’s appeals for hearing of Benazir Bhutto murder case adjourned

RAWALPINDI: The division bench of Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday adjourned the hearing of the appeals of Pakistan People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari for an indefinite period in Benazir Bhutto murder case.

The case was adjourned as lawyers were on strike on Monday.

PPP had filed three different appeals in LHC against the verdict of the Anti -Terrorism Court (ATC) announced on August 31.

The two-time former prime minister Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in a suicide attack on December 27, 2007, after addressing a public meeting at Liaquat Bagh.
