Supreme Court (SC) Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Tuesday took notice of violence perpetrated against two youths by an influential group in Koral area of the federal capital.
The CJ had taken notice of the case on a petition filed by the father of the two youth. In the petition the father pleaded that an influential group in their area wanted to encroach upon their land. The youth, identified as Zaheer and Akhtar, were allegedly undressed and tortured by the influential persons.
The petitioner requested the honourable court to provide protection and extend legal support to him in order to bring the criminals to justice. Later, the CJ summoned a report about the incident from Islamabad inspector general within a week.
