The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar has taken notice of alleged brutal torture of a 9-year-old house maid in Lahore by her employer.
Allegedly, the woman forced her hand into the fire until her flesh sizzled. As per reports, local police hushed up the case and pressurised the family of the minor to forgive the influential accused.
Taking the cognizance of the issue, the CJP has demanded a report from the Punjab Police IG within three days.
