LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has closed the kidnapping case of Shahbaz Taseer, son of slain Punjab governor Salmaan Taseer.
Earlier court had issued non-bailable arrest warrants of Shahbaz Taseer after he failed to appear despite being summoned in a case against his kidnapping. The court had summoned Shahbaz Taseer to record his statement.
He arrived in court on Monday to record his statement. The court first reserved the case and then closed it.
It is pertinent to mention that the court had already recorded the statement of complainant Ayesha Tumi in the kidnapping case of Shahbaz Taseer.
